Hotel Ballroom Entrance Wall

"Inspired by Victorian high teas, glass green houses, and solariums, this ballroom will whisk hotel guests away for the time of their lives as they are able to enjoy both the merriments of the dance floor and the stunning natural views. Enter the ballroom to dance amongst the hotel’s flora and admire the beautiful signature stained glass paneling at every turn. From high tea at noon to evening galas, this space is one that is sure to impress.

Every person who enters this grandiose space will have a chance to feel luxurious and opulent while still having a connection to the beauty of nature and all the sensory delight that comes with. Enjoy the newness and familiarity of it all!"

Tasked with designing an entrance wall for a themed hotel ballroom, I ideated several designs inspired by solariums and greenhouse before creating a final symmetrical design that heavily features stained glass mosaics and other glass features. This was one of my first AutoCAD projects, and my first time doing elevations and detail sheets, and I am very pleased with how it turned out! I am excited to grow in skill with the program as I continue my studies at Ringling.
