INDECENT! How the Hays Code Changed Hollywood

Type:

Concept Package and Environment Models

This project was completed as a collaborative effort between the Entertainment Design and Graphic Design departments at Ringling College of Art and Design. My group (Alex Broomell, Alex Endicott, Bee Tollison, Bennett Haus, and myself) chose to create a sequential educational experience based on on the history of the Hays Code and its effects on censorship in Hollywood. As an environmental designer alongside Alex Endicott, I was tasked developing the floor plan and visual look of the experience, and modeled and rendered the Pre-Code and Code sections of the SketchUp Model. I also did much of the ideation for immersives such as Casting Call, Tough to be a Toon, and the walkthrough movie theatre screen entrance.
