Invoking the exciting sense of “newstalgia,” the piece’s innovative design combines the needed flexibility of the modern household with the grand and showmanship of the interior trends of the 1970s in an approachable and sleek format. With its use of familiar materials and shapes, Retrovolve is unstoppable at creating that unrivaled sense of fondness for the past with the excitement of the future.

This cabinet offers a wide range of storage options with numerous shelves and drawers, but its most unique feature is its tiered shelving within an enclosed dome. Formed out of layered pieces of arched laminate that stack into neat quadrants, this dome can open from all angles, making it a perfect centerpiece for an evening soiree or an exciting ornament for the corner of an entertaining room.

Upon opening the dome, all will surely be amazed by the vibrant and exciting colors provided by the FORMICA and FENIX laminates lining each panel’s interior. The display of these long-lasting quality materials is the heart of the Retrovolve identity, incorporating the solid colors and warmth of the beloved mid-century modern homes of the 70s into such a contemporary piece of furniture.
